A New York festival day comes down to volume and weather. Waterfront sites catch wind off the river, summer afternoons run hot and sticky, and the line hits all at once during a set break. We bring multiple presses, a deep size run and a crew used to outdoor builds. The gear ships freight from La Habra, and the crew lands a day early.
Each station runs two presses, carries blanks across XS–4XL, and has a crew that clears the line between sets. Indoors at a hall like Pier 36 or outdoors on a waterfront lot, we plan power, cover and flow with the producer.
Festival-ready in New York
- Throughput: 100+ shirts an hour per two-press station, and more stations for a packed window.
- Weather: cover for the station and a plan for wind and rain on outdoor sites.
- Power: two dedicated 120V circuits per station from the producer's distribution or the building.
Live music and high-volume nights in New York
On the big end, open rooms like Pier 36 on the Lower East Side and festival lots along the Williamsburg & DUMBO waterfront have space for several presses and a long line. Fans pick a design, watch it print and leave with a shirt from that night.
Sponsor activations and label nights are smaller. A brand backing a show at a Chelsea venue or a Long Island City warehouse studio usually wants the station as the photo moment, often with a hat bar so guests build a cap to the night's art. For full-color tour graphics or a date-stamped one-off, a live DTF station prints it on demand with no screen swaps.
